The Lakeland Regional Sewer District Board of Trustees has decided to transition to improved billing software and customer service features offered through Astbury Water Technology, Inc. that will commence on July 1, 2019. It is very important that you continue to send your payments to the PO Box 2907 Elkhart, Indiana 46515 address up until July 1, 2019.
This new software will provide many enhancements and self-service options, such as:
- The ability to manage your account online to view and pay your bill with a credit card or from your checking account as well as view payment and billing history
- The option to switch to paperless billing and automated ACH draft
You may still pay your bill by check via US mail using traditional methods and paper bills will continue to be sent as regularly scheduled, unless you elect paperless billing.
Banking information for customers who are currently enrolled in ACH AutoPay will automatically transfer over to the new system. If you are not currently enrolled and would like to sign up for ACH AutoPay beginning with the bill you receive in July, please complete the enclosed form and return it to the address below with a voided check.
The bill you receive in July will instruct you to remit all payments to the following address. Please make sure to use this new address to ensure your payments are properly posted:
Lakeland Regional Sewer District
PO Box 2492
Indianapolis, IN 46206-2492
If you make your payment through your bank’s online bill payment service, it is your responsibility to update our new mailing address with your bank to ensure that your payment is received by us on time.
Customers will be able to reach a dedicated customer service representative during the hours of 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) by calling 866-418-6241. Any messages left outside of business hours will be returned on the next business day. Customers can also send account questions and correspondence by email to lakeland@awtbillingservices.com.
We look forward to working with you to ensure a smooth transition process.
