New Construction Capacity Fees

NEW CONSTRUCTION CAPACITY CHARGES

“Capacity Charge” (sometimes known as a Tap Fee) is a fee that applies to an owner of any lot, parcel, real-estate property, or building that plans on connecting to the Sewage Works and whose property was not included in the original project or construction or installation of the Sewage Works and also, would apply to the owner who has not paid monthly rates and charges previously. The charge issued to a new owner is to help set aside capital funds to replace the capacity that will used by a new owner.

Capacity Charges shall also be imposed on all connections made to future extensions of the Sewage Works. The first 10 year schedule of Capacity Charges shall be as follows:
